Most visits involve no cracking at all.
Back and neck care that starts gentle and escalates only when your body needs it. Four weeks at a time, and a referral out if it isn’t working.
If you’ve had a bad experience with a chiropractor, been wary of being cracked, or been sold a long package up front, you’re not alone. That isn’t how I practice.

Not every chiropractor works the same way
You may be expecting the crack. Most of the time, there isn’t one.
Most people assume every chiropractor does the same thing: twist, crack, repeat, and a long package to sign up for. Some have had exactly that experience. Some have a physician who’s told them to be careful.
I’ve been in practice for 25 years, and I crack far less than I used to. Over that time I’ve found that forceful manipulation is needed less often than I once thought.
Spinal bones can be aligned and moving properly without abrupt twisting or cranking. That’s where I start, every time.
How I treat
Gentle first. Escalate only if your body needs it.
Treatment moves up the ladder only based on how you respond and what you tolerate. Most visits involve no manual adjustment and no cracking sound.
01
Instrument adjusting
A precise, low-force adjustment delivered with a handheld instrument. This is where treatment starts.
02
Drop-table adjusting
A section of the table drops slightly as the adjustment is made, so less force is needed from me.
03
Manual manipulation
Used only when it’s truly necessary, and only with your permission. After 25 years, I’ve found that’s less often than I once thought.
Aligned and moving properly, without abrupt twisting or cranking.
The body is designed with a real capacity to heal. My job is to find what’s getting in the way of that and use no more force than it takes.
4
Weeks
at a time
One month booked at once. Never a long package.
At your report visit I’ll explain the full timeline I expect. But I only schedule four weeks at a time, so the approach can change if it isn’t working.
If there’s no meaningful change in your range of motion or symptoms within the first month, chiropractic probably isn’t the answer for you, and I’ll refer you to a spinal specialist.
If muscular weakness turns out to be the main driver, I’ll suggest physical therapy alongside what we’re doing.
Getting started
Your first two visits
Visit one
A full examination, plus X-rays of your spine, taken here in the office.
Visit two
Your report of findings: what I found, the treatment plan I’m proposing, the prognosis, and the full timeline I expect. You decide from there.
What it costs
$97 covers your first visit, any X-rays you need, and the report-of-findings visit. Regular visits start at $65, depending on your plan and any optional therapies you choose.
I accept VA Community Care, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare and Devoted Health. Insured costs vary by plan. I try to verify your cost with your insurer before you come in, but what they quote isn’t a guarantee of what you’ll actually be charged.
Next step
Start with registration.
New patient registration is online and takes a few minutes. Once it’s done, you can schedule your first visit yourself in the patient portal, or call 720-583-4686 to schedule.
