New patients · Littleton, CO

Know exactly what you’re walking into.

Two visits of about 30 minutes each to start. By the end of the second, you’ll know what I found, what I recommend, and what it will take.

Registration is online, so you don’t need to call to get started. Once you’re registered, you can book your first visit yourself in the patient portal.

Your first two visits

About 30 minutes each. Here’s what happens.

Visit one
About 30 min

A full examination, plus X-rays of your spine taken here in the office. This is where I find out what’s actually driving your problem.

Visit two
About 30 min

Your report of findings: what I found, the treatment plan I’m proposing, the prognosis, and the full timeline I expect. You decide from there. If you agree with the plan, you can start care that same visit, or on a separate day if you’d prefer.

What to bring

  • Photo ID
  • Your insurance card
  • Any recent X-rays, MRIs or reports related to the problem

What the adjustment feels like

Gentle first. Most visits involve no cracking.

Treatment starts with a precise, low-force adjustment using a handheld instrument. If your body needs more, I use a drop table: a section of the table drops slightly as the adjustment is made, so less force is needed from me.

Manual manipulation, the twist and crack most people picture, is used only when it’s truly necessary. After 25 years in practice, I’ve found that’s less often than I once thought.

4

Weeks

at a time

One month booked at once. Never a long package.

At your report visit I’ll explain the full timeline I expect. But I only schedule four weeks at a time, so the approach can change if it isn’t working.

If there’s no meaningful change within the first month, chiropractic probably isn’t the answer for you, and I’ll refer you to a specialist.

If muscular weakness turns out to be the main driver, I’ll suggest physical therapy alongside what we’re doing.

Insurance and cost

What I accept, and what it costs.

Insurance I accept

VA Community Care

UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

Medicare

Devoted Health

Insured costs vary by plan. I try to verify your cost with your insurer before you come in, but what they quote isn’t a guarantee of what you’ll actually be charged.

VA patients: you’ll need an approved Community Care referral from the VA before your first visit. Once you have it, register online and book the same way.

Cost

$97 covers your first visit, any X-rays you need, and the report of findings. If you choose to start care at visit two, that first adjustment isn’t included in the $97. Regular visits start at $65, depending on your plan and any optional therapies you choose.
